Week 9 – 3 Stars of The Week
Green Monkeys forward Bryan Scott, Red Jaguars forward John Poloyac and Substitute goalie Brian Kauffman have been named the JRHL’s “Three Stars” for the week of December 1st.
First Star – Bryan Scott, F, Green Monkeys
Winning this week’s Inco Beverage 6 Pack Player of the Week was Bryan Scott. In a must-win game, the Green Monkeys had one of his best games of the year. Scott dictated the pace of the game and ended the night with a hat trick and provided 2 assists finishing with a total of 5 points.
Second Star – John Poloyac, F, Red Jaguars
It’s hard to see the Red Jaguars winning their latest game against the Blue Barracudas without the play of Poloyac. Poloyac helped the Jaguars finally get out of their losing streak by netting 4 Goals.
Third Star – Brian Kauffman, G, Substitute
It’s tough to say whether or not the Green Monkeys would be in the playoffs without the play of Kauffman. The 3rd choice goalie came down and had one of the best performances seen by a goalie this year. He may not have won the 6 pack player of the week but the Monkeys should be giving him his own 6 pack after that one.
