POTW – Winter 2020 – Week 2
Blue Barracuda’s forward Brandon Curtis, Purple Parrot’s forward Jeremy Hobor and Purple Parrot’s defender Mike Crowe have been named the JRHL’s Players of the Week for the week of February 9th.
Inco Six Pack Player of The Week – Brandon Curtis, F, Blue Barracudas
The Blue Barracudas faced off against the Red Jaguars in week 2 and gave us a preview of what could be a potential playoff match later this year. And once again Curtis proved to be the Barracuda’s best player with another stellar performance against the Jaguars. Curtis ended the night with 4 goals as they edged out the Jaguars with a final score of 8-5.
Jeremy Hobor, F, Purple Parrots
Hobor continued where he left off last week with another solid night of production against the Silver Snakes. The game was tied at 10 goals apiece after 2 periods of play, but Hobor and the Parrots saved their best for the 3rd overtaking the Snakes. The game ended with a final score of 16-11. Hobor finished the night with 7 Goals and 4 Assists.
Mike Crowe, D, Purple Parrots
Also from the Parrots is defender Mike Crowe. Crowe netted his first career hat-trick in their win over their Silver Snakes. Crowe also assisted on an additional goal and finished the night with a career-high of 4 points for a single game.
