POTW – Winter 2020 – Week 3

Blue Barracuda’s defender Bernie Seth, Silver Snake’s forward Todd Kamzik and Red Jaguar’s forward Bryce Bostian have been named the JRHL’s Players of the Week for the week of February 16th.

Inco Six Pack Player of The Week – Bernie Seth, D, Blue Barracudas

The Blue Barracudas who were missing forwards Nate James and Cory Mesteller would need someone to step up when they played the Purple Parrots in week 3. And that man was Bernie Seth aka Bern Gretzky. Seth netted his first career hat-trick, provided another 3 and kept 3 out of his own net when he became a second goaltender.

Todd Kamzik, F, Silver Snakes

Week 3 could come back to be a critical win for Snakes as they picked up both points in an overtime win against the Monkeys. After being down by 5 after 2, the Snakes rallied with a 7 goal 3rd period and forced overtime. Kamzik buried the game-winner as the Snakes picked up their first win of the season. Kamzik finished the night with 8 goals and 2 Assists.

Bryce Bostian, F, Red Jaguars

Not much to say here, it was against the Iguanas who continued to struggle as they let in another 22 goals. Bostian had the biggest of the nights with 5 goals and 4 assists.
