Players of The Week - Week 4- Winter 2020

POTW – Winter 2020 – Week 4

Green Monkey’s forward John Poloyac, Green Monkey’s goaltender Dean Carpenter and Silver Snakes’s forward Nolan Mock have been named the JRHL’s Players of the Week for the week of February 23rd.

Inco Six-Pack Player of The Week – John Poloyac, F, Green Monkeys

The Green Monkeys were looking for a bounce back after suffering an overtime defeat to the Snakes in the prior week.  The Monkeys were the dominate team in their 16-7 win over the Parrots.  John Poloyac had a huge night offensively breaking double digits in points with 4 goals and 6 assists. With that big night, Poloyac goes into the top 3 for points.

Dean Carpenter, G, Green Monkeys

Another big reason the Green Monkeys cruised to a victory on Sunday, was the play of their goaltender. Only allowing 3 goals after 2 periods of player, Carpenter was there for his team when he was called upon. Dean finished with a 50 save night and a 0.877 save percentage.

Nolan Mock, F, Silver Snakes

After a huge overtime win last week, the Snakes looked to build momentum going into their game against the Red Jaguars. Linemates Nolan Mock and Todd Kamzik continued their good form with Mock having the better night. Nolan ended with 5 goals and 3 Assists and kept the Snakes in the playoff race.
