Week 10 – 3 Stars of The Week

Blue Barracudas forward Brandon Curtis, Orange Iguanas forward Austin Smay and Blue Barracudas forward Russ Griffith have been named the JRHL’s “Three Stars” for the week of December 8th.

First Star – Brandon Curtis, F, Blue Barracudas

Winning this week’s Inco Beverage 6 Pack Player of the Week was Brandon Curtis. The game against the Silver Snakes may have not meant much for the playoffs, but Curtis still brought his A-game against the Snakes. Not only did Curtis complete a double hat trick, but he also was big provider, setting up 5 goals and finishing the night with 11 points. 

Second Star – Austin Smay, F, Orange Iguanas

Continuing his run of good form, Smay had another great night of goal scoring. Smay led all players in goals in the game against the Parrots with 8, making the series 1-1. The teams will meet again this Sunday with one team earning the title of the Best of The Worst for this season.  

Third Star – Russ Griffith, F, Blue Barracudas

Russ Griffith had an anything you can do, I can do a better night with Curtis in terms of scoring goals. Although Curtis ended up having more points at the end of the night, it was Griffith you ended up with the most goals, scoring 7.
