Week 2 – Stars of The Week

Silver Snakes forward Tim George, Blue Barracudas forward Brandon Curtis and Red Jaguars forward Dave Wilt have been named the JRHL’s “Three Stars” for the week of Oct. 13.

First Star – Tim George, F, Silver Snakes

Winning this week’s Inco Beverage 6 Pack Player of the Week was Tim George. Tim made his season debut helping the Silver Snakes defeat the Green Monkeys in a thrilling game. George finished the night with 6 goals which included a late game-winner and 1 assist.

Second Star – Brandon Curtis, F, Blue Barracudas

Curtis led the Blue Barracudas with an offensive explosion against the Orange Iguanas. Curtis put 7 into the back of the net and assisted on 1 finishing the night with 8 points.

Third Star – Dave Wilt, F, Red Jaguars

Dave Wilt the rookie from the Altoona drop in warriors scored 5 goals with multiple being big blasts from the point. Wilt was essential in their win against the Purple Parrots not only by scoring goals but helping shut down the Parrots in 3rd where the Jaguars allowed 0 goals.
