JRHL Recap Week 3 – James & Pavic Get Tricky, Snakes Win Big, Red Jaguars Finally Get A Full Bench

Green Monkeys: 5 – Blue Barracudas: 9

Blue Barracudas continued their good form with Nate James and Jared Pavic both scoring hat tricks and Matthew Pfeil offering solid goaltending. The Barracudas exploded in the 2nd period netting 6 goals to the Monkeys 3 and closed it out by shutting out the Monkeys in 3rd. The Green Monkeys have now lost 2 in a row and look to rebound against the Purple Parrots.

Silver Snakes: 17 – Purple Parrots: 5

The Silver Snakes have shown why they are one of the favorites to win the league after another big performance. The Snakes offense ran wild with Nolan Mock and Steve Costic both scoring hat tricks and Tim George scoring another 7. The Purple Parrots will be relieved that first round draft pick Bryce Bostian returns to the lineup to face the Green Monkeys in Week 4.

Orange Iguanas: 4 – Red Jaguars: 12

We finally got a look at the Red Jaguars full roster in Week 3. Justin Baxendale made his season debut after suffering a fracture in his elbow. Matt Andrascik also made his season debut. Poloyac and Reed continued to show why they might be the best line in hockey right now with both having another night of great offensive production.
